Helipebs Controls was happy to support the Freemasons of Mythe Lodge, Tewkesbury who held a Charity “Snail Racing Night” at the end of last year in aid of Tewkesbury Abbey. The Abbey’s only income is raised through donations unlike our Cathedrals which receive regular revenues.

Due to a continuing increase in business, Helipebs is pleased to announce an addition to their internal sales team. Andy Roberts brings with him 13 years of sales experience mainly in an engineering capacity.

Helipebs Controls Ltd is an engineering company specializing in the design and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders and solutions for critical applications in a number of key industries including offshore oil and gas, pharmaceutical, fatigue testing of aircraft and Formula 1 components and the leisure industry. Helipebs Controls sister company was founded in the 1920’s, and Helipebs Controls itself has been established for over 40 years and is based in Longlevens, Gloucester employing over 60 people.

SPE Offshore Europe 2013 in Aberdeen has celebrated its 40th birthday by staging its biggest and best conference and exhibition to date. Helipebs Controls were pleased to be a part of such an important event as an exhibitor after many years of trying. Harry Anderton, Commercial Director, commented "we have been trying to exhibit at OE for a good number of years without success but this year the exhibition grew even larger and we were lucky to be offered a place. It is a great show to meet with customers, find new potential accounts and catch up with individuals who have moved around from company to company.

SOME 90 county business people were given an insight into the vital role of the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC) and the huge impact it makes on the Gloucestershire economy.
The ARRC base at Imjin Barracks, Innsworth played host recently to the latest Get Connected business networking event organised by the Citizen and Gloucestershire Echo.

Helipebs Controls are proud to be a sponsor once again of Cheltenham Town Football Club for the 2013/14 season. Managing Director, Geoff Davis says “This is the fourth season in a row we have now been a sponsor at the club. It is great for our profile, both locally and nationally to be associated with Cheltenham. In fact, one of our major customers from the north of England commented in a recent visit that he had seen our advertising board on the television. In recent years Cheltenham has been a successful club just as Helipebs has also grown from strength to strength as well.

Helipebs Controls is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Nicholls as their new Detail Design Engineer.
Lucy joins the company having graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Product Design.

As a part of Helipebs commitment in the local community, we were contacted by the Elmbridge Junior School to see if we could assist with a “Dragon’s Den” type competition between the year 6 pupils. Harry Anderton, Commercial Director, was pleased to be involved.
