Helipebs Controls, Gloucester based hydraulics company are proud to be a sponsor of Cheltenham Town Football Club for the 2010/11 season. Managing Director, Geoff Davis says “at this stage in our company development it is important for us to be associated with the local football club for the first time ever. Albeit Helipebs Controls have been around for a long time, and our sister company Helipebs Limited even longer, we see it as an ideal opportunity to raise our profile, both locally in the area and nationally”.

Helipebs is proud to announce that we are one of the first companies in our industry to have achieved certification to BS OHSAS 18001:2007.

This is a management system dedicated to Occupational Health & Safety in the workplace.

Helipebs Controls Ltd is a long established engineering company based in Longlevens, Gloucester. Recruitment of skilled engineers has become increasingly difficult so we restarted our apprenticeship scheme some 3 years ago. Our only tool at the time was interviewing and assessment of 16 year olds who were looking to leave school.

Helipebs Controls is featured in a new DVD and book designed to encourage young people and students to take up a career in engineering.

The publication, Engineering@work, has been produced by edexcel-the UK's largest awarding body providing academic and vocational qualifications.

Helipebs Controls has provided the main sponsorship for a charity tractor drive between John O’Groats and Lands end.

Helipebs Controls strategy in recent years has been to develop their design and development of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This successful strategy has given them a foothold into various market sectors including aerospace, automotive and formula1 fatigue testing.
