Ahead of schedule and despite unseasonably warm weather, the 6 riders completed their challenge and reached Land's End at 6.20 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
Refreshed after a break in Cheltenham the previous evening and turbo charged by a pasta boost, the team made great progress through Tuesday evening into Wednesday. Having previously ridden in relays, all 6 riders completed the last leg to Land's End to end their epic 1000 mile journey in 3 days.

Beyond exceeding expectations in the physical challenge however, their fundraising effort is even more impressive. Having set a target of collecting £5,000 to aid UCL's research into Huntingdon's Disease, the Next GENEneration Cycle has raised over £17,000 to date- and still counting.
Helipebs Controls, one of the challenge's many sponsors, salutes the bravery and determination of all the team involved – both riders and back up team, without whom this feat couldn't have been accomplished.
This challenge was part of the Huntingdon's Disease Awareness Month, which runs throughout May and more information can be found at https://www.hda.org.uk/get-involved/awareness-month-may-2019
