
Hydraulic cylinder and Pneumatic cylinder experts Helipebs Controls we re delighted to welcome Richard Graham MP to their site in Gloucester today.
Richard kindly came in to speak to the whole company about the success achieved by all of those in Helipebs Controls with the winning of the Queen's award for Enterprise: International Trade. Richard spoke about the pride he and the people of Gloucester feel to know that a true Gloucester stalwart, in this case one with over 100 years of history in Gloucester city, has continued to improve, grow and develop. Recognition by the Queen really is the highest accolade that anyone could hope for and is testament to the quality and drive exhibited by all of the staff at Helipebs Controls.
Helipebs have been designing, manufacturing and servicing hydraulic cylinders, pneumatic cylinders and hydraulic systems on the Sisson Road site for nearly 50 years and have received three awards so far this year: the Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade, the Sunday Times SME Export Track 100, the AI Offshore excellence - Best Oil and Gas systems Manufacturer UK and the Gloucester, as well as being recognised as one of the 25 fastest growing companies in Gloucestershire.
Richard has long been a supporter of Helipebs Controls, most recently supporting the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese Oil and Gas giant JMP. He has been MP for Gloucester since 2010 and in Autumn 2012 Richard was appointed as the Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Indonesia, and to the ASEAN Economic Community in August 2015. As of January 2016, Richard is also Trade Envoy to Malaysia and the Philippines.
Richard and Helipebs are currently working together to form a Gloucester cluster of suppliers to the Oil and Gas industry to provide better opportunities for these world leading companies to work together in both the UK and around the world.
