During 2015, Helipebs Controls and the Employee Forum decided to raise funds for the locally based charity the ÔÇİNational Star College' (www.natstar.ac.uk) which culminated in a grand Christmas draw for numerous prizes, many of which had been donated by our suppliers and local companies.
Our grateful thanks for this go to: - Birdland Park & Gardens, Brickhampton Golf Course, Cheltenham Town Football Club, Cotswold Farm Park, Cotswold Wildlife Park, Elmrep, Forest Hills Golf Club, Highfield Nurseries, Old English Inns, Robert Hall Business Equipment and The Roses Theatre.
A total of £2,000 was raised during the year and the Employee Forum has decided to continue to support National Star during 2016 with a variety of events including a sponsored cycle ride to Paris.
Geoff Davis, Chairman of Helipebs Controls Ltd, comments "The whole workforce visited National Star in May 2015 and our employees have really taken this charity to heart. Plans are in hand for the workforce to visit the College again in 2016 so that they can be present when a cheque is handed over for the funds raised to date".
