Helipebs is proud to announce its largest ever single order. The £1.8 million order has been placed by a major manufacturer of equipment working within the oil and gas industry. The requirements are for special design hydraulic cylinders that will work offshore.
Harry Anderton, Commercial Director, says "this is a significant order that runs for a period of two years. Due to confidentiality agreements in place, we are very limited on what we can say. However the significant number of units, operating 3,000 metres on the seabed at 10,000psi, are designed to suit the specific application requested by the customer, by our team of very experienced engineers.
We have managed to ride the recent recessions extremely well and have even taken on additional people to handle the increase in business in recent years"
Helipebs employs around 60 people and has its design and manufacturing facility in Gloucester.
