Helipebs Controls, a leading fluidpower manufacturer, based in Gloucester and established for over 40 years, has announced the appointment of Andy Goldsmith, as their new Business Development Manager for the Scottish Region.
Andy's appointment has been driven by our continuing success within Scotland including increasing business growth within the oil and gas sector.
Andy's appointment adds over 10 years experience within the Scottish hydraulic and pneumatic marketplace to the company's growing team. His vast experience was gained having spent several years in the armed forces as a Marine Engineer. Since leaving the Armed Forces in 1998, he put his experience to good use in the Fluid Power area of the hydraulic and pneumatic market place. He has spent over 10 years working for major fluid power solution companies such as Hiflex Fluid Power as both a senior on-site engineer and various external sales management roles. Andy comments "I've worked for many years in a customer facing role where my direct service experience and contributions have given me a good strong footing for the challenges that lay ahead".
