Helipebs use of technology and exceptional design, test and production facilities means we are able to custom design and manufacture, Intelligent Actuation packages, integrated HMI and PLC software and hardware control solutions and ‘self-contained’ test machines, ranging from static load production to complex closed loop control packages.

Helipebs also design and build control cabinets (MCC’s) which will complement the chosen control system. With our background in hydraulic and pneumatic systems we can provide a solution to most problems. From plain on/off systems to sophisticated servo control packages Helipebs can provide the answer. Research

Helipebs was asked to work in partnership with a client to design and build a full test rig to reliably perform high cycle fatigue bend testing of varying sized carbon fibre pipe assemblies. We were presented with a mechanical concept drawing of a fatigue bend test rig. The test rig needed to control a pair of 1.75m long hydraulic servo actuators to a position tolerance within 0.5mm. These would be used to produce complex pipe bend motions.
