There was plenty to smile about at the Helipebs Group recent AGM which announced record sales and profits for the year ending 31st March 2014. Group Chairman, Ross Cole, was pleased to announce sales of £5.234 million, up 26% on the previous year. Profits also exceeded targets. In his report he says "Helipebs Controls has had an exceedingly busy year in all areas of the business. A new machine has been ordered, to add to those purchased in recent times, which will greatly enhance the efficiency of the operation.Improved efficiency has already resulted in increased margins. The order book continues to run at record levels and we hope to produce excellent results in the current financial year. Once again, on behalf of the Board, I must refer to the dedication and expertise of the management and workforce under the leadership of Geoff Davis, Group Managing Director. The country has come through one of the deepest recessions in the last century but during this period Helipebs has remained stable, strong and focused, ready to take advantage of any improvement in the world economy. We are now beginning to reap the benefits of that policy". Geoff Davis went on to add "the benefit of the capital expenditure programme that was approved by the Board over the past two years is now being reflected in improved performance and delivery times.Further improvements are already planned and underway in the subsea test area, stores, drilling section and the paint shop. In summary, our order book and therefore our workload for the next 12 months continues to be in very good shape"
Helipebs has another successful year
